Engagement Process

Every medical-legal engagement follows a structured, predictable workflow. From initial case review to final report delivery, we keep attorneys and their clients informed at every stage.

Initial Inquiry

Contact our office by phone or email with a brief case summary. We confirm neurological relevance and the absence of any conflict of interest.

Retention Agreement

A retention agreement and fee schedule are provided. A retainer payment is required before any records are reviewed or work commences.

Record Submission

Submit medical records, imaging, prior expert reports, and discovery documents via secure electronic transfer or overnight mail. Page counts are verified on receipt.

Evaluation or Review

Face-to-face examination (IME) or records-only review is completed. Standard report turnaround is 10–15 business days; rush delivery available.

Report Delivery

A comprehensive, defensible written report is delivered. Addenda or supplemental reports can be issued upon receipt of new records or new questions.

Testimony

Available for deposition and trial testimony. All preparation time is billed at the applicable hourly rate, with a two-hour minimum for depositions.
